James Nisbet is a UK guitarist, producer and musical director with a touring and session history spanning Bryan Ferry, Rod Stewart, Kylie Minogue, Lily Allen, Boy George and Culture Club, and a long-standing residency as MD of the house band at Ronnie Scott's. He's also Belinda Carlisle's main guitarist and musical director, a relationship spanning two decades of world touring. James needed a site and identity that could speak to two different audiences at once — artists and tour management booking a player of proven pedigree, and event/corporate clients booking his band for hire — without either audience feeling like an afterthought.
Designed a stacked logo and identity system built around James's own image and gig photography rather than generic music-site imagery, keeping the credibility front and centre. Structured the site around clear, separate sections — Live, Studio, Bands, Watch — so a tour manager and a corporate events booker each land on the section that speaks to them directly, without wading through content meant for someone else. Built in embedded video, full touring/recording credit lists and press-ready assets to support quick vetting by people who book fast.
A live, fully delivered site and brand identity currently representing James across active bookings — including his role as Belinda Carlisle's musical director and main guitarist, a 2025–2026 tour with Boy George and Culture Club, a 2026 Brit Floyd tour, and having just wrapped supporting the Take That tour.
