Amazon Book Depository wanted a campaign that celebrated books not just for their content, but for their beauty as objects. The brief was to create visual elements for a Beautiful Books campaign that invited readers to discover titles they might otherwise overlook.
The central idea was a play on ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’ — a sliding interface element that revealed the beauty inside the pages when hovered. I designed the UI elements, homepage banners and email campaign assets that brought this concept to life across the Book Depository platform.
A cohesive campaign that worked across homepage banners, email newsletters and book-listing pages — turning a standard promotional mechanic into something that genuinely surprised users.
